The lobby and front desk area are where students get their mail and purchase food and beverage items. Also, students are able to check out a variety of items including movies, kitchen equipment, tools, board games, and sporting goods by purchasing a hall council activity sticker.
Basement Study Lounge/Classroom
The basement of Bridgman Hall has a silent study lounge, as well as a group study lounge, open for student use 24 hours a day. The Basement classroom serves as a space for RA programs and presentations by organizations, as well as a silent study space.
Included in each room for each resident is: a bed, a desk, a dresser, a closet, and an internet connection. For roommates to share are: a cable television jack and a telephone jack. Carpeting, couches, and posters give these rooms a home-like atmosphere. More information can be found on student rooms.
Residents in Bridgman can check out kitchen utensils to make a great meal, cookies or birthday cakes.
Residence hall labs are available 24 hours a day. Printing is also standard in the labs with students providing their own printing paper.
The workout room contains a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, and basic weight equipment. It is open 24 hours a day, and the key can be checked out from the front desk by any resident.
Laundry is a $2.25 to wash, and dryers are free. The laundry room only accepts Blugold account funds, so there is no need for quarters! Also available in the laundry room are a sink and an ice machine.
The Bridgman music room, which contains an upright piano and an electric keyboard, is open to residents during non-quiet hours to practice any instrument.
The basement TV lounge is open to all residents, 24 hours a day. The room and large-screen television are commonly used for movie nights and watching the latest episode of a favorite program. Video game systems can also be connected to the TV.
