Learn Where You Live
If you want an enhanced residential living experience, try a Living Learning Community (LLC). In a LLC you will live with like-minded students interested in a specific theme. In a LLC you will take a course (or choose from a variety of courses) that focuses on the LLC theme. You'll also benefit from:
- Stimulating events and activities
- Increased interaction with faculty
- Regular topic discussions in your hall
- Smoother social and academic adjustment
- Volunteer opportunities
- Specially-trained students and staff who create experiences related to your LLC theme
How Do I Join a Living Learning Community?
How do I join if I am an incoming student?
Once you have been accepted to the University and paid the $75 housing deposit, you should complete the online housing application. You will then be able to apply for a Living Learning Community by clicking the "Apply Here" link below. Please note: You first have to be accepted into the Honors Program in order to join the Honors LLC.
How do I join if I'm a current UWEC student?
You can apply for a Living Learning Community by clicking the "Apply Here" link below. Special room sign-up information will be provided if you are accepted into a LLC.
