NOTE: New Incoming International Students do not need to pay the $75 deposit as it is already included in your registration deposit.
The $75 deposit is in addition to the room fees and is intended to serve as a reservation deposit for the housing contract. The money is held in escrow and applied to second semester fees. If the student does not complete the contract for the full academic year, the deposit is forfeited and the Student is held responsible for room and meal plan fees for the full academic year.
The deposit will be refunded if the Housing and Residence Life Office receives a written request from the Student no later than May 1st of the preceding year. Any additional funds collected during the time of payment, including any convenience charges, are non-refundable.

- All transactions must be from a United States bank in US currency.
- Do not use debit/check cards for this method.
- Credit card payments online use Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
You will be emailed a receipt related to your transaction within 24 hours. All receipts are in electronic format and directed to the email address that you input during the payment process unless formally requested at the Housing and Residence Life office.
Any and all the information collected on UW-Eau Claire Housing and Residence Life operated sites will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned. Any non-personally identifiable information gathered from your internet browser, such as IP address, domain name, browser software and OS type, is anonymous and no personal information is ever transmitted to us in this manner. This non-personally identifiable information relating to site visits is used to improve the feature and functionality.
I understand that processing could take up to two business days. I also understand that administrative costs of $20.00 per payment associated with rejected and/or returned payments are the responsibility of the student.
NOTE: The most common reason for rejected payments is the use of invalid checking or savings account numbers as well as invalid routing numbers. Please be aware of your account and routing numbers and enter them carefully.
