Students who complete the requirements of the University Honors Program receive the distinction of "University Honors" on their transcripts and permanent records upon graduation. To graduate with University Honors, students:
- Honors 100, the first-year Honors seminar (1 credit)
- 8 Honors courses (22-24 credits)
- some combination of Honors colloquia and Honors electives
- at least two courses at the 300-level
- Honors 400, the senior Honors seminar (1 credit)
Attain Total and Resident Grade Point Averages of 3.5 or higher upon graduation.
Please note:
- Honors Program courses may not be audited nor may they be taken for a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grade.
- Honors courses are not extra courses. All Honors courses count toward requirements for General Education, major, or other requirements.
- All credits earned in University Honors courses count toward university graduation requirements even if a student does not complete Honors program requirements.
