Trend Micro Housecall Scan - http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Trend Micro Incorporated is a well-known company in network antivirus and Internet
content security software and services. Housecall is an online service that scans
your computer for viruses and spyware. Currently on their website they have two
different versions of this scan. We recommend using both of them.
Symantec Antivirus - (Norton)
Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition provides automated virus and spyware
protection for computers. Real-time protection reduces the risk of spyware and
adware reaching the system, while automatic removal enables easy disposal of
security risks.

Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner - http://safety.live.com
Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner is a free online service designed to help ensure the health of your PC. You can run the protection scan to check for viruses and malware, or select full service scan to get rid of viruses, malware, unneeded files and improve your PX's performance.
Lavasoft Ad-Aware -

Lavasoft Ad-Aware is an application for removing spyware and
adware that has installed itself on your computer. This tool
can be downloaded from the developer's website by clicking on the "Downloads" link on
the left side of their homepage.
Safer Networking Spybot -

Spybot - Search & Destroy can detect and remove spyware of different kinds
from your computer. This tool is similar to Ad-Aware in that
it removes spyware from your computer, but it finds and removes
different kinds. This tool can be downloaded from the developer's
website.
Windows Defender - http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
It is a free program. Windows Defender is a security technology that helps protect Windows
users from spyware and other potentially unwanted software. Known spyware on
your PC can be detected and removed. This helps reduce negative effects caused
by spyware including slow PC performance, annoying pop-up ads, unwanted changes
to Internet settings, and unauthorized use of your private information.
Continuous protection improves Internet browsing safety by guarding over 50
ways spyware can enter your PC. This tool can be downloaded from the developer's
website.
Cisco VPN Client - (Only use if Windows VPN can not be used)

The Virtual Private Network connections are supported through the university
to allow access to on-campus resources from off-campus. For more information,
