Windows
- Open iTunes (Start » All Programs » Multimedia » Players » iTunes).
- On the top menu bar, click Store » Sign In.

- Enter your Apple ID username (like uwecipadXX@uwec.edu) and your Apple ID password.
- Click the Sign In button.
- On the top menu bar, click Store » Authorize This Computer.

- Enter your Apple ID username (like uwecipadXX@uwec.edu) and your Apple ID password.
- Click the Authorize button.
- Plug the iPad's Dock/USB cable into the iPad and the computer.
- On the left menu, under Devices, right click on your iPad.

- Click Transfer Purchases and wait a moment.
- On the left menu, under Devices, right click on your iPad.

- Click Back Up and wait a moment – unless you get a warning message, your iPad has been successfully backed up.
- You may now disconnect the iPad from the computer.
Mac
- Open iTunes (Go » Applications » iTunes).
- On the top menu bar, click Store » Sign In.
