Students Saving to the Department Drive

The department drive (W: \\cass1\deptdir) is similar to the student drive (H:). It is set up so each department on campus has space available to store folders/files for use by students. Instructors may ask students to submit homework or projects via the department's In folder. Some departments also provide a Work folder where students can save larger, in-progress class projects. Much like the H: drive, students are able to copy, paste, and save onto the department drive. For more information on SGS and its drives, refer to The SGS Drives. For information on creating a shortcut to the department drive, or any frequently-used drive, refer to Creating a Shortcut.
