A template controls the look of your survey – its colors, fonts, the presence of a logo, etc. Using a template for your survey allows you to have a distinct look to the pages of the survey. There are existing templates that you can copy and use or you can create your own template. The WebSurvey System allows you to set colors, fonts, headers and footers to give your template a unique look.
There is a logical order to follow in using templates. Performing these steps in this order will save you some time and frustration.
IMPORTANT: In order to use a template, you must create the template prior to assigning it to your survey. This is true even if you intend to use one of the existing “public” templates. If you intend to use an existing template, you must create and save your own copy of it first. For more information, refer to Creating a Template from an Existing Template.
If none of the existing templates meet the needs of your survey, you can create your own template.
