The Navigation and Numbering Properties determine what tools and information are available to respondents as they complete your survey.
From the My Surveys page, for your survey, click OPTIONS![]()

You have the option to display a BACK button and a CANCEL button. If you display a CANCEL button, you have additional options for actions when it is clicked.

Back Button
Display or hide a button that allows respondents to navigate back page by page in your survey.
NOTE: The BACK button is available only on surveys with Respondent Access Levels 1 or 4.
Cancel Button
Display or hide a button that allows respondents to cancel their entry. If displayed, choose what will occur when CANCEL is clicked: take them to the end of the survey so they can submit their responses so far, or take them to a URL you specify.
Cancel Button URL
Type the URL of the webpage respondents will be taken to if they click CANCEL. You must have selected to redirect to a custom URL from the CANCEL button pull-down list.
Page and question numbers can help your respondents gauge their progress in the survey.
Page Numbering
Display or hide a visual clue as to progress in the survey. Options include a progress bar or page numbers.
Question Numbering
Display or hide question numbering. Options include page numbers that restart at 1 on each page of the survey or continuous numbering throughout the survey.
