A signature is a block of text that you can use to identify yourself in email messages. The signature often includes a name, title, and contact information. They may also include images and links. This document explains several things you can do with signatures.
NOTE: You can save only one signature at a time.
Outlook Webmail's signature feature is a simple way to add personality to your messages. The following steps will show you how to create a signature:
From the Outlook task bar, click OPTIONS![]()
The Message Options screen appears.
Scroll to the E-mail Signature group
In the E-mail Signature text box, type your signature
To format your signature, use the toolbar above the E-mail Signature text box
Select or deselect the options you want to appear on the toolbar
NOTE: Hovering the cursor over an option will display its name.
To add this signature to each message, select Automatically include my signature on outgoing messages
You may wish to add a signature only to certain messages.
Create a signature

Be sure that Automatically include my signature on outgoing messages is deselected.
Click MAIL ![]()
The Mail screen appears.
Click REPLY or FORWARD
Place the insertion point where you want the signature to appear
Click INSERT SIGNATURE![]()
The signature is inserted.
As time passes, or if there is a mistake, you may wish to change your signature.
From the Outlook task bar, click OPTIONS![]()
The Message Options screen appears.
Scroll to the E-mail Signature group
In the E-mail Signature text box, edit your signature
To format your signature, use the toolbar above the E-mail Signature text box
Select or deselect the options you want to appear on the toolbar
NOTE: Hovering the cursor over an option will display its name.
To add this signature to each message, select Automatically include my signature on outgoing messages
If you decide that you no longer want a saved signature, you can delete it.
From the Outlook task bar, click OPTIONS![]()
The Message Options screen appears.
Scroll to the E-mail Signature group
In the E-mail Signature text box, select the entire signature
Press [Delete]
The signature is deleted.
Click SAVE![]()
The deletion is saved.
