Macintosh users connecting to Lucy, the web server, require Dave to be installed on their computer. The following instructions walk you through logging on, connecting (mounting a volume) and logging off with Dave.
Accessing your network space with DAVE Access is a two-step process. First, you log on--this establishes the Command toolbar. Second, you complete the Mount a Volume dialog box. Both steps must be completed before you have access to your files.
From the Apple menu, select DAVE

From the Access menu, select Log On
The Network Logon dialog box appears.
In the User name text box, type your username
NOTE: This is the same as your email username.
In the Password text box, type your password
NOTE: Your password, unless you changed it, is uwec followed by a question mark (?) and your four-digit pin#.
EXAMPLE: uwec?1234
Verify that the Domain text box contains UWEC
NOTE: If it does not contain UWEC, type UWEC.
Click OK
A UWEC dialog box appears.
From the Access menu, select Mount Manually...
The Mount a Volume dialog box appears.

In the Share text box, type the name of the share
For your Lucy web space it is your account name followed by a $ (dollar sign)

Under Connecting Using, select DNS or IP
