Even opening the document in a word processor may corrupt the hypertext mark-up language which created the Favorites unless you save it as Text Only. If you want to view or copy URLs in a Favorites file, open it in an ASCII editor like Windows Notepad or the DOS Editor or TeachText for the Macintosh.
