Report Wasteful, Unethical Activity and Misconduct
On May 15, 2015 the University of Wisconsin System launched a new website and hotline designed to help students, staff, and faculty easily and anonymously report concerns about potential waste, fraud, and abuse.
|Voluntary Separation Incentive Program|
On March 12, 2015 the Chancellor announced the implementation fo a voluntary separation program. Employees were notified by US Mail whether they will be eligible to participate.

We know identity theft is a frustrating process for victims. The Internal Revenue Service has put together a Taxpayer Guide to Identity Theft.
Tax-related identity theft occurs when someone uses your stolen Social Security number to file a tax return claiming a fraudulent refund.
Generally, an identity thief will use your SSN to file a false return early in the year. You may be unaware you are a victim until you try to file your taxes and learn one already has been filed using your SSN. Read more.....

Student employees, Classified, LTE and Unclassified should login to the "My UW Portal" to verify your home address. Your home address is the address that your W2 will be mailed to.
Staff, your home address is only maintained in HRS. Human Resources does not maintain addresses for staff in CampS.
Students, you must maintain your home address in both systems, CampS and in HRS.

|Health Insurance Marketplace|
Beginning in 2014, the federal Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires almost everyone to obtain health insurance for themselves and their dependents or pay a penalty when filing their tax returns. The Marketplace (or Exchange) is a new option for people to obtain health insurance.
For employees that are currently under a State Health Plan and depending on your circumstances, the “Marketplace” options may be of interest to you.
Leave Reporting for Employees Working Summer
If you normally work the Academic Year and earn sick leave and you are working during the summer months of June, July or August you must submit a paper leave report regardless of whether or not leave was used.
There is one report for the three months. Please complete the paper form and send it to Human Resources by Sept. 15, 2015. Do not enter the absence online. If you have already done so or will not work summer, disregard this message.
