Graduate Studies

The Office of Graduate Studies is within the division of Academic Affairs. Graduate Studies provides oversight for graduate education in the university.  We administer graduate assistantships, most of the graduate fellowships, records, policies and other procedures relating to graduate students.  Applications for admission are collected by the Office of Admissions, and are then forwarded to the Graduate Program Director/Coordinator where a recommendation is then sent to the College and Graduate Dean.

GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS

If you are interested in applying for an assistantships or fellowship for the 2012-2013 academic year, please note that the priority application deadline was March 1, 2012; however, applications will continue to be accepted until all positions have been filled.

The assistantship application and materials should be sent to the Office of Graduate Studies (210 Schofield Hall).  An application form and more information about the assistantships and fellowships can be found at www.uwec.edu/admissions/graduate/fininfo.htm. Please feel free to contact the Office of Graduate Studies if you have any questions at 715/836-2721.
