Geospatial Certificate Offerings 

The Geospatial Certificate program at UW-Eau Claire is a program that aligns with the Geospatial Competency Model (developed by the U.S. Department of Labor) and prepares students to meet the Geographic Information Systems Professional designation after completion of the certificate program.

There are four separate options for the Geospatial Certificate program: one 12 credit option, and three 18 credit options with different areas of emphasis.

Geospatial Certificate, No Emphasis – 12 Credits


These four core courses are required for every certificate

Geospatial Certificate, Geographic Information Systems Emphasis – 18 Credits


These four core courses are required for every certificate
