When
owners repair or "modernize" houses, the primary foundation materials are
sometimes covered with stucco, bricks, or aluminum siding.
Sometimes
foundations may be faced with veneer materials only on the front facade
and
the underlying foundation materials, such as rough cement blocks are
exposed
on the rest of the foundation.
Because only 192 or 3 percent of the
7106 houses surveyed have veneer materials over foundations, neither
historical nor spatial data are shown.
Compare reddish brick veneer to stone foundations.
