End- and Central-Chimney Locations

The two locations of chimneys are rather evenly distributed over the decades, varying more by house styles than heating technology.  End chimneys were a bit more common in the 1870s, 1920s, and 1950s-1960s.  Central chimneys appeared in larger numbers during the 1920s and especially 1950s.
