Eau Claire: Occupations for Sample of Streets

 The occupations of Eau Claire were collected from the Eau Claire City Directories for each decades starting in 1910 and ending in 1980. The individual occupations, e.g., truck driver, laborer, teacher, lawyer, etc., were classified into 10 classes: four white collar categories -- high white collar, medium white collar, low white collar, other white collar, and four blue collar categories -- skilled blue collar, semi-skilled blue collar, unskilled blue collar, other blue collar, and retired and widow and widower.

Occupations, house styles, and assessed values were examined on five streets in different parts of Eau Claire. Examine each and compare the relationships between these three variables and compare these variables by streets in different parts of the city.
