In which part of Eau Claire would you expect to see the greatest growth in
new homes?
Notice the small patches of post-World War II houses scattered in the older sections of the city. The area south of the Eau Claire River was a golf course and the areas in the Third Ward had to await drainage. Most of the recent development has been on the Southside; fewer newer houses were built on the Northside and Eastside.
