effect would industrialization have in the Eau Claire's growth? Where
would the working class live?
In
the early 20th century, growth continued outward from the three older
neighborhoods. With the industrialization of Eau Claire in the 1920s, working
class neighborhoods grew, especially along Birch Street and east of Forest
Hill Cemetery.
