Eau Claire: Houses built from 1994 and earlier

The patterns of houses built from the 1960 to 1979 can be seen scattered around the old city going towards the outer part of the city. The highest concentration (78-58 percent) which are located around the Half Moon Lake area, Putnam Heights, along Dells Pond and as well as the exurban area.. The next highest concentration (58 to 41 percent) which are focused around Randall Park, east  of Third Ward, around the area of North Side Hill, Putnam Heights, along Dells Pond and the Exurban. The low concentration (41 to 31 percent) starts from downtown and then spreading away from downtown. Areas located within the old city has the lowest concentration (31 percent). Most houses were designed simpler and cheaper. Common styles that can be found were Counter Culture (1960s) and Shed New England Colonial (1970s)

The houses built from 1980 to1994 are mostly distributed away from the old city. The Exurban and the north of Putnam Heights has the highest concentration (85 to 46 percent). The next highest concentrated area (46 to 33 percent) are mostly located around Putnam Heights, while the houses with low concentration (33 to 22 percent)  can be found mostly away from the old city. The lowest concentration is distributed around the downtown area. The stlye of houses built was Neo-Eclectic (1980s to 2000s)Due to the energy crisis, houses were built two stories to conserve energy.
