Eau Claire: 5 Person Households by Block Group Based on 2000 Census Data

The block group with the highest percent of five person households (11%-14%) is located to the south of Half Moon Lake which is an area which also is home to a lot of Hmong people.  The Hmong immigrants in Eau Claire tend to live together and some have large families.  This is a possible explanation for the highest density of five person households to be in that area.  The suburban and exurban landscapes located in the southern area of the map also have a relatively higher percentage of five person households.  These areas also tend to be inhabited by families.
