This California Ranch house has an integrated double-car garage with an additional, set-back single-car garage. The different garage door designs indicate that the single-car garage was probably added later, or, at least, the door was. Three-car garages first appeared in upper middle class suburbs in the 1970s; by the 1990s they had become almost a “necessity”!
