Salt Lake City, Utah: Temple SquareTemple Square is the center of the LDS church. As the map shows, the church has its administrative offices, temple, tabernacle, assembly hall, two visitor centers, relief society, museum of church history and art, two genealogy libraries (Joseph Smith Memorial building), and two historic buildings (Lion (1856) and Beehive (1854), home of Brigham Young). A convention center was added in 2000 across the street from the north visitor center. Click on each photo to see more. Also tour Brigham Young's Beehive house. |
