San Juan Pueblo Topographic Map

1) The U.S. census map for the area of the San Juan Pueblo, New Mexico, shows that over 75 percent of the Rio Arriba County  (shown in dark green) population is Hispanic; and it is only 18 percent Indian. No census data are provided within Indian reservations (shown in light brown). How are reservations shown on this map compared to the topographic map with which you are working?
2) The National Geographic Society map shows the pueblo villages differently.
3) Now look at a relief map for most of New Mexico, including the area of the San Juan Pueblo, NM, topographic map. San Juan Pueblo lies on the Rio Grande River, which can be seen on the satellite-image (source) and on the topographic sheet.
