Conceptualizing Problems: Using Lines

Find the solution to this puzzle: connect the 9 dots with four straight lines.
Think about the problem spatially: what are the various "spaces" in which a solution could be found?

The rules are simple:
  • Draw a line through each of the 9 dots.
  • Click down with the mouse to start a line.
  • Drag with the mouse to position the line.
  • Release the mouse button to commit the position of the line.
  • You get four lines, and each succeeding line will be attached to the previous line.
