The Golden Lane consists of small 16th century cottages built into the side of the caste walls. The Loreto church (1626) with its distinctive tower had a baroque facade added in 1661. It is a major pilgrimage center. From the Strahov Monastery in the Caste District, you have spectacular views of the Lower Town and its roof tops.
