Geographic and General Skills

The Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire prides itself in preparing geography majors and minors with the necessary geographic and general skills to be successful in their professional careers. Michael Solem, Ivan Cheung, and Beth Schlemper compared the skills of professional geographers and the needs of employer organizations across major sectors of the U.S. workforce.
