Schofield Auditorium is the largest fixed-seating venue, located in the only campus building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Every Blugold from the Class of 1917 to present has occupied its chairs, fueled by hopes and dreams with countless possibilities before them. Student groups and organizations hold more than 500 events in the auditorium annually. Chairs may be sponsored for $250 with a commemorative plate inscribed with your name. To sponsor a chair, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 715-836-3526.
New gateways to campus
The entrance gates are the welcoming front doors to our campus. Designed to maintain the historical look of the rest of campus and represent the gateway to our future, they will be part of the university’s centennial celebration in 2016. Each will include pavers, lighting, benches and signs.
Beautiful Putman Park
UW-Eau Claire is committed to maintaining this wonderful asset in its natural state to serve as a botanical laboratory and public park. You can help us create an outdoor classroom at the entrance of Putnam Park near the Chippewa River. A series of informational signs about its history and locations of interest along the park trail is planned.
