Geography and Anthropology
Thank you for taking the time to consider how you can support the work of the UW-Eau Claire department of geography and anthropology. While there are many forms of support, a financial investment helps the department respond to opportunities and support students with a depth, latitude and creativity that allows us to provide a premier program in sync with the needs of today's students and society.
Not only do your financial investments support our ongoing commitment to provide students with high impact learning experiences, student-faculty research opportunities, field seminars, and critical studies that prepare our students for meaningful and contributory careers after graduation, they help us with special activities, internships and programming that make our students’ experiences distinctive and exceptional.
Our students participate in these as they learn important applied skills, theoretical perspectives, investigative approaches and ways of thinking.
Taken together, the student experience in geography and anthropology is an integrated, multi-disciplinary synthesis of nature and society, people and place, culture and space, perspective and practice that equips students well. To provide this, it requires support from our alumni, friends, community and colleagues.
