Charles Chou Vue, a Hmong lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages, is currently the Associate Director of Multicultural Affairs Office at UW-Eau Claire. He received his bachelor’s degree from UW-Eau Claire in 1989 and MSW from UW-Madison in 1997. Charles was a social worker for Eau Claire County for nine years prior to serving as the associate director of the Multicultural Affairs Office at UW-Eau Claire. Charles is a passionate community supporter. He believes in building community through volunteer efforts with others. He is married and has three children. Charles came from Laos to the United States in 1978.
