Information for Veterans

Federal law requires that veterans educational benefits be used as part of a veteran's financial aid award. Therefore, in order for financial aid to be awarded, veterans must provide information regarding the type of veterans educational benefit to be received during the academic year. When completing the FAFSA, be sure to report Veteran's Educational Benefits that you will receive between 7/1/2008 and 6/30/2009. Review worksheet B in the FAFSA instructions to avoid misreporting your veterans' benefits. Be sure to apply for all veterans' benefits through the UW-Eau Claire Veterans Office.
