These safety policies and safe work practices have been developed by Facilities Management to ensure that it is a safe place to work and visit. With a goal of reducing work place accidents, these policies establish guidelines for completion of work that are in compliance with requirements set forth by the Department of Commerce (DOC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and General Industry Standards (CFR).

Employees can look to these policies to clarify responsibilities, procedures, work practices, and training, and record keeping requirements relative to various work activities that they perform.
