She has a diverse background in language studies, with a Master’s in English Linguistics (Université Marc-Bloch, 2001), a Master’s in French Literature (St. Louis University, 2001), and recently finished her doctoral dissertation in French Linguistics on Swiss French intonation (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign).
