Usher Corps Usher-in-Charge Coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Usher-in-Charge Coordinator is a management position within the Usher Corps
- The Usher-in-Charge Charge Coordinator is automatically a manager at events; he/she must display him/herself in a professional manner at all times when working at Usher Corps events.
- All Ushers Corps employees are required to work four specific events throughout the school year. These events include: at least one Homecoming event, at least one Winter Commencement Ceremony, at least one night of Viennese Ball, and at least one Spring Commencement Ceremony.

POSITION DUTIES
- Be a role model for Ushers and Ushers in Charge
- Correspond with both Ushers and University Staff
- Attend weekly manager meetings
- Act as the connection between the Ushers in Charge and other managers
- Plan and run monthly Ushers in Charge meeting — Send minutes to Ushers in Charge who are unable to make the monthly meeting via email | Create sign-up sheet for every Ushers in Charge meeting for events throughout the month
- Encourage Ushers in Charge in their roles
- Coordinate music events
- Supervise events — Know how to run all events on campus
- Handle problems that occur before, during, and after events
- Answer questions patrons may have
- Attend and participate in annual general meeting
- Fulfill office duties
- Serve on campus committees
- Hire, train, and supervise all Usher Corps employees
- Evaluate Usher performance
