A member of the University Centers staff since March 1969, Karen Stuber began her term of employment as the university calendar secretary for Student Activities and University Programs. She became manager of the conferences and reservations complex in 1982. Now Assistant Director for Event Services, Karen directs the work of full-time, limited-term and student staff who are responsible for the production, technology, scheduling and supervision of events in Davies Center and across the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus. She works with community organizations including Visit Eau Claire and the
Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International and the Association of College Unions-International.
Karen Stuber is also executive director of the Viennese Ball, the largest social event hosted annually by the university. The event promotes positive university, community and international relations by expanding an awareness and appreciation of the culture, history and music of Vienna, Austria. Proceeds have provided more than $1 million in music, service and international study scholarships for UW-Eau Claire students.

As Event Production Coordinator, Jason Anderson is responsible for the management, instruction, mentoring and training for all event production of the University Centers,
in Davies Center, Schofield Auditorium, Zorn Arena, Hilltop Center, Crest Wellness Center and other performance venues on and off campus.
Since joining the University Centers staff in 2007 he has facilitated the growth and development of the student-composed staff of the Event Production Crew. These student technicians create, monitor and strike the more than 11,500 events the University Centers produces every year. He is also directly responsible for all scheduling of events and activities within the historic Zorn Arena. Jason was the co-chair of the Schofield Auditorium renovation committee that oversaw the $1 million renovation of the campus' largest fixed-seat venue, and chaired the technology committee for the new W.R. Davies Student Center. He currently represents the academic staff of the University Centers on the University Senate, and is co-advisor of the University States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT) student organization. In the spring of 2012 he was selected as one of 21 staff members on the search committee for the new Chancellor.
He completed his BFA in theatre design and technology in 2002 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He went on to complete his MFA in lighting design in 2005 at Northern Illinois University. Having trained in the European style of design, Jason has worked as an associate/assistant designer with both Emmy and Tony Award-winning designers throughout North America. He has had the opportunity to collaborate on numerous world premieres in the United States and the Caribbean. As a touring professional at Upstaging Lighting and Transport in Chicago, he had the opportunity to work on numerous rock-and-roll and industrial tours. He is also the production manager for the Grammy Award-winning locally based music group Bon Iver.
Originally from a large farm near Lake Wissota State Park, Jason currently lives in Chippewa Falls.

Christine Henricks joined the University Centers staff in 2005, as the Conferences and Reservations Assistant. Before working for Event Services she worked with her father at their family-owned business, Eau Claire Orchards. There she managed the retail store and office.
As the Conference Coordinator, Chris is the primary staff member in charge of scheduling and coordinating of all non-academic events taking place on the UW-Eau Claire campus. She meets with a wide range of clients and assesses their specific needs for room setups, audio-visual services and dining service. She schedules and plans wedding receptions and other special events held in Davies Center.
Chris supervises the student office staff in Event Services, and works closely with the Assistant Director for Event Services.

Barbara McAdams joined the University Centers staff in October 2011. She retired from the pharmaceutical industry in 2007. As the Event Services Assistant, Barb works closely with the Conference Coordinator and the Assistant Director for Event Services. She is also the secretary to the Viennese Ball.
