Event Services is responsible for more than 11,000 reservations on the UW-Eau Claire campus every academic year, serving some 200 different groups from the campus and community. The unit's responsibilities for event planning, production, facilities and house management require a high level of professional knowledge and expertise. Staff hold active memberships in the following professional organizations:

  • Association of College Conference and Events Directors - International
  • Association of College Unions International (Region 8)
  • Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce
  • International Facility Management Association
  • Professional Lighting and Sound Association
  • United States Institute of Theatre Technology

Event Services directs a highly responsible student staff trained in all aspects of safety and event production to ensure the well-being of all users of campus facilities.
