Athletics: Head Men's Basketball Coach

Revised Duties (4/9/12)

A full-time, professional academic staff position is available at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with primary duties in the Athletics Department as the Head Men's Basketball Coach (66%) and in the Athletics Department working with Event Management, Fund Raising, and performing other duties to be assigned (34%).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Head Men's Basketball Coach. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.    


Requirements

Required:

  • A  master's degree.
  • At least two years of coaching experience at the collegiate level.   


Preferred:

  • Experience with event management in a collegiate environment   


The successful candidate will also demonstrate the potential for collaborative leadership, the ability to manage multiple tasks, strong communication skills, a high degree of personal initiative and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusiveness.  

ABOUT UW-EAU CLAIRE ATHLETICS:
UW-Eau Claire has one of the outstanding NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletic programs in the country.  The Blugolds are a member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, a nine-member league considered to be the premier Conference of Champions in DIII.  The Blugold sports module includes 11 women's sports and 9 men's sports, which have together garnered 9 national championships, 145 conference championships, including 72 since 1990.  The Blugolds have hosted numerous post-season events, including national championships in women's basketball, softball, and gymnastics as well as men's and women's cross country.
