Joan Sosalla, Program Director has a background of working in all forms of education in Wisconsin (instruction as well as administration - from the K-12, technical college and university settings). At the same time, she has developed training for business and industry for over 16 years. Joan continues to consult with businesses and serves as a life coach to a wide range of individuals. She has a PhD in Administration and Learning Disabilities.

Jim Dzimiela (ja mél a), Program Counselor grew up in Weyerhaeuser, so he is very familiar with the counties he serves (Barron, Chippewa, Rusk, Sawyer, and Washburn) He is also a graduate of UW-Barron County for his associate's degree and UWEC for his teaching degree.  Jim is an EOC success story as he returned to graduate school at the age of 42 to get his master's in Guidance and Counseling at UW - Stout. He was an EOC client and understands the needs of adult students.

Amy Havron-Perez, AmeriCorps graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2010 with a BA in Latin American Studies and a minor in Global Studies. During her time with the EOC, Amy will work to serve those in need of career and educational guidance, paying special attention to outreach within Spanish speaking populations in Western Wisconsin. She will be working primarily out of the Eau Claire office serving Eau Claire, Chippewa, Clark, Jackson and Trempealeau counties. Following her time with the EOC, Amy plans to pursue a master’s degree in School Counseling.
