Meal plan dollar account balances remaining from fall semester will automatically transfer for use during spring semester — if you are on a meal plan for the spring semester. If you are not on a spring semester meal plan, you must use what is left in your meal plan dollar account by the last day of finals or forfeit the balance.
Your meal plan dollar account balance must be zeroed out by the end of spring semester or the balance will be retained by the University. Blugold Dining gift cards cannot be issued for remaining balances at the end of the academic year.
If additional deposits are made to a meal plan dollar account and you have not used all of the additional meal plan dollars by the end of spring semester, Blugold Card Services will transfer, upon request, any remaining additional meal plan dollars to your Blugold Account after the end of the academic year. No money will be transferred unless a minimum of $10 remains in the meal plan dollar account. Transfer requests will be accepted in Blugold Card Services, Davies Center 110, until 3 p.m. on the last day of final examinations.
It is the responsibility of the meal plan participant to notify both of the following offices when intending to officially withdraw from a meal agreement:
