GENERAL MANAGER / EXECUTIVE CHEF
Christian come to UWEC from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois where he was the General Manager from 2005-2008. Christian has been with Sodexo for over ten years and his passion is food. He is a trained chef, having worked in the food industry for over 30 years. Christian is highly interested in evolving the food service here at UWEC and enjoys any and all feedback anyone would like to afford him.
Christian holds certificates in cuisine and pastry from the Escoffier Ecolé de Gastronomie, Paris, France. He also attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France. Christian graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with bachelors degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, was awarded a teaching fellowship in Philosophy at the University of Missouri, taught for two years and then obtained a juris doctor at Syracuse University. His background in political theory lends itself wholeheartedly to the social dynamics of team building which helps the running of a team sport like food service.
In his spare time, Christian spends time with his wife, daughter and son. Spending time at the playground, camping, swimming, cooking and playing chess collectively take up nearly 80% of his spare time when he is not actually working.
