Placing the Blame
No matter what the circumstances were, if you did not want sexual contact but did receive it, you were sexually assaulted. This is not something for which you should blame yourself – it was not your fault. If you expressed that you did not want to engage in sexual activity, your partner should have stopped what he/she was doing.
