Remote Site Broadcast
As you may know, the size of the graduating class determines the number of guest tickets available to each person participating in Commencement. Some of you are probably distressed to have so few tickets available to you for family and special guests.
Since we cannot physically make Zorn Arena any bigger, we have arranged for an on-campus remote site broadcast of the ceremony in Davies Center — in Woodland Theater (328) and Ojibwe Rooms A and B (330A and 330B). Extra, un-ticketed guests may come to campus with you, watch the ceremony in the comfortable environment of either space, take pictures with you in Zorn Arena following the ceremony, and join you for the reception afterward.
The doors to the remote site broadcast locations will be open at 7:45 a.m. for the morning ceremony and at 12:45 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony. No tickets for this remote site viewing are required.
In the past, elderly guests for whom comfortable chairs and close proximity to the screen are important and persons with small children have found the remote sites particularly attractive. We hope that this opportunity helps to make your Commencement day more enjoyable.
