The Children's Center is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, a division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Center has maintained this distinction since 1987. This is a great achievement since only 5% of the nation's childcare centers are accredited.

A process in which a program's administrators, staff, and parents join with representatives of the Academy to determine whether that program meets nationally recognized criteria for high quality.
