Student Seminars.
Visiting seminar speakers and UWEC alums Franco Basile and Susie (Stolp) Carter.
Being a Chemistry major at UWEC involves being fed intellectually and once a week literally! Nearly every week in fall and spring we have a visiting seminar speaker from academics or industry. To foster connections between our students and visitors we sponsor a pizza lunch for students and speakers. We faculty get out of the way and let our students do the talking! The lunch is followed by the seminar. These interactions have led to future employment and graduate study for our majors. Your contributions help make this networking possible.
