One of the defining features of a UWEC Chemistry education is the
opportunity to carry out research with faculty and travel to present
the results. Our fabulous Office of Sponsored Programs has many grants
for student and faculty travel yet it is not always sufficient to get
to major national meetings. This is where special funds such as our
Felker fund as well as general Chemistry Foundation dollars can help
bridge the gap. In addition, you dollars can provide valuble seed money
and student research assistance which, again, will help us obtain
future funding from private and public donors.
