This was truly a grassroots student initiative. Students valued this facility, but the computers were getting old and glitchy. The ACS Student affiliates and Molecular Movement clubs pitched in with bake sales and other manual labor and I matched their effort with Foundation dollars. The result? A great new facility for students with graphics, simulation and molecular modeling capabilities.
