Each year the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Career Services office receives numerous requests from third party employment services. In order to respond to those requests and to be fair to all, the following information is provided. This procedure will remain in effect until further notice.
Third party employment services (TPES) are agencies, organizations or individuals recruiting candidates for employment opportunities other than for their own needs.
TPES must follow the same policies and procedures established for company recruiters including full compliance with established Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment practices.
TPES may recruit only for clients they represent. Candidates' names and/or resumes obtained for a job opening may not be used for subsequent job openings nor for solicitation of employer clients. (Unless specific arrangements have been initiated and agreed to by the candidate).
At this time, TPES do not have access to our online resume service. Contact Debbie at petersdk@uwec.edu for information on interview schedules.
TPES may send postings or job announcements to our office for display and inclusion in Blugold CareerLink, the Career Services online recruiting system. These announcements must clearly indicate that candidates will be working through a third-party.
This office will neither endorse, nor recommend, any TPES.
