The annual Career Conference is being held Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Zorn Arena.

Priority deadline is September 8 (no refunds given after September 8).

This Career Conference provides an opportunity for all University students to gain more information about your organization.

Students and alumni use this opportunity to discuss career plans, exchange resumes, and make preliminary contacts with your organization. These contacts can be followed up with more formal interviews either on or off campus. Underclassmen profit by talking to your representatives about what you have to offer as an employer, which may help clarify their career goals. They may also inquire about possible internships your organization might offer.

Pre-Conference Reception

A pre-conference reception will be held from 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on Wed., Sept. 28 at the Holiday Inn - Campus Area, 2703 Craig Road, Eau Claire, directly off I-94 and Highway 37, 715-835-2211.

The reception is an additional opportunity for company representatives and students of all majors to meet in a social and more casual atmosphere.

Shipping Materials and Equipment Ahead of Time

If you prefer to ship materials to UW-Eau Claire prior to the event, please plan to have them arrive no earlier than a week prior to the event. Be sure that your organization's name is prominently displayed on every package. Your parcels will be waiting for you at the event when you arrive.

After the event
Schedule pickup after the event with your shipping company. Materials should be picked up at: 105 Garfield Ave, Zorn Arena. All packages will need to be picked up between 3:15 and  4 p.m.
