Ms. Sterling-Orth recently joined the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders as a full-time Associate Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor. She completed both her baccalaureate degree and her master's degree in Communication Disorders at UW-Eau Claire. Before joining the department, she worked as a public school speech-language pathologist in Wisconsin. Following her experience in the public schools, Angie worked for Thinking Publications in Eau Claire, editing and co-authoring assessment and intervention resources for use with children with communication disorders. She has particular interest in preschool and early childhood speech and language assessment and intervention, as well as serving adolescent who have special language and learning needs.

Angie currently provides supervision of graduate and undergraduate student clinicians and supervision of general diagnostics on campus. In addition, she teaches coursework related to developing clinical observation skills.
